Funnily enough, I was actually very impressed and more then happy with the image quality on switchback vr. I pre ordered it but didn’t play for about 1 month due to bad reviews but I actually really enjoyed it and thought it looked good. Like it wasn’t incredible but I had no complaints. I even played the game start to finish in 1 sitting. The only thing that I hated about switchback, would be those random stupid items through every stage, with yellow stars on them. Random box, jar, bottle lamp etc. This just annoys the hell out of me. It’s like a distraction that I don’t need. Not only this but I think I have adhd or something, because I know I don’t have to shoot these silly items but because you get a overall score, and these yellow stars boost it, I feel compelled to shoot them.

I played this on PCVR with the Quest2 and it really is super immersive with its stunning visuals. It’s reference standard material and a must own.

The best thing I see with this game is that they actually rendered the arms. I cant stand VR games with just the floating hands.

Red Matter 2 is the only game I'm playing on PSVR2. It's tremendous starting with the view of the rocky rings of the planet. I'll just remark about the Haptic effect on the controller and headset as the monorail passes through the pylons. You can feel the whoosh of pressure and almost hear it.

This is great! In the meantime between these amazing VR specific titles, devs could be nagging Sony to assist them in making hybrid games. I'd buy WAY more games that I normally wouldn't care about if they added full game VR modes.

The game is really great and an absolute benchmark for VR clarity-wise. The framerate still needs a bit of work when handling objects but it's a very minor thing and it's fine when moving.

@@GAMERTAGVR I think the difference between the two games is with half life Alex going from point A to point b. I knew it was going on with this game I don't know what's going on. It's a complete mystery and going from point A to point b doesn't seem the same, I'm reading everything, looking everywhere for items and common sense that went into the puzzles makes it seem much more realistic. I've been a long time steam VR user with the Vive pro. It wasn't until I used my son's quest 2 with steam link that I realize how good it actually was, so I picked up the quest 3 and couldn't be more satisfied.... Well, if it was an OLED screen then I would be more satisfied..lol but it's a very impressive headset.

Couldn't resist. Finished breath of the wild. Started tears of the kingdom... Just had to give this a quick spin and whoa! For once I think all the hype is utterly accurate. Despite expecting it to he ace visually, my jaw still hit the floor. This is like ps5 flatscreen quality graphics, in VR which I thought would never be possible. OK so mainly closed environments not densely packed with characters etc.... Just imagine these guys doing like a haunted house game!

Trouble is you watch all these reviews about the psvr headset and games raving on how great the graphics are and are shown whats being seen on a 2 d flat screen or tv but when you put the headset on thats when you see the blurry grainey graphics !! just like gt7 youtubers were showing the 4k graphics on the tv and you are being told the picture has clarity and 4k graphics but it doesnt have this when you wear the vr headset !! and yr probley notice there will be lots of games out which are cartoony animated type games as they were mostly on the vr 1 headset !!

I wonder how much the Mura holds it back, I know it was super clean and smooth on my G2 when I first played it. Sadly, like Wanderer there isn't much replay value.

In the caves there is definitely a fight between the flashlight, the darks and the glow sticks but it’s rarely caused an issue

In half life alyx much more is going on at once. And rooms are full off stuff and all interactive. So it's hard to compare i quess. Don't own a psvr2 but both very different games.

Those graphics are absolutely amazing. But how did they do that? Is it those 120? Like for game that size it's only 10gb it seems unreal Can that be achieved in games like re8, gt7? It's a matter of update or game has to be build from the ground? Red matter 2 set up level in terms of graphics really high i think and I'm expecting to see that in resident evil 4 remake VR I really really hope this will become standard for upcoming games. I know not all of them. But at least part of future games
