6:10 specifically in regards to the rengar point you made, this ward could be a double edged sword, as rengar almost always has early sweeper and can use the revealed ward to jump and use q to auto reset for quick double jumps if you’re a little too forward. Fantastic vid as always, appreciate the info you provide!

Amazing video, I think it will really help me out! Just fyi, pink wards give 30 gold, not 25. This makes the total deficit 105 gold, which conveniently is equal to exactly one wave worth of gold (without a cannon).

ik this vid it's kinda old now but I've been fallowing my own reasoning for the longest time regarding the topic of "pink wards" without giving it much thought since I had this issue of thinking I was just losing money pointlessly so I would find myself NEVER buying them for whatever the reason might be I just forgot of their existence. Which is obviously bad... then I remember something some1 told me many many many years back about some "core s1 rule" that even tho might not be very practical now days but it goes like this: "if u reset and u have money on ur pocket, use it no matter what if u go out of ur base with money on ur pocket u losing advantage" Obviously is not that simple now days and I do recognize and prioritize building core items but there is a mid ground in that "advice" that even tho 75g is a lot in some context I still think is more worth using it chances are u will get it back either cos of a kill or an assistance or by just farming and that 75g becomes less and less relevant as the game goes on as mid / late game I came to "hey I have the room in my inventory, I have the 75g, get the stupid ward that (most of the time) NONE on my team mates are buying" and this ward could be the getting that next drag or baron, situation. All this does tights with what he was mentioning on this video that u getting ur moneys worth of that pink ward but at the same time "don't buy it just because" and obviously I don't know any better then eragon in this aspect but I would like to add up that don't over think it too much, its a very valuable item to have on ur inventory that's why rito nerfed it many season ago and now u can only have TWO and u can only have 1 placed at the time and if place another one it'll replace the previous one because it's an OP AF item. Thinking like that what reason wouldn't u want that item in ur pocket if u can afford it? (as long u don't replacing finishing one of ur core items in order to get that pink ward I see nothing wrong with always having it on ur pocket)

Hi! Love your channel and content - I am picking up Jax due to how often I am starting to see Tryndamere and Irelia (and the as-of-today nerfed Camille). When do you trinket swap on Jax, if at all? As a follow-up, is there a scenario where you would actually prefer to stay yellow trinket over blue/red even on a champ that has no added combat utility for the ward? Thank you!

No no, swapping trinket is not mandatory. If you benefit more from having wards, in this case for wardhops, keep yellow trinket.

This guide focuses on laning, but always buy a pink or two when setting up for a dragon or baron fight. Denying vision before or in a teamfight can be game deciding.

Is it worth using those pinks to bait out a fight in low elo? I feel that requires an amount of coordination that doesn't exist in silver, example: see enemy drop trinket in river bush, you slowpush and drop a pink in the bush and kill their ward so that they can see your pink, then you expect them to try to take it on the bounce-back and your jungler's waiting there, 0 out of 1,000 low elo junglers will see that coming. So do we stick to the long duration wards?

I’d say stick to long duration wards, but sometimes if you type this plan in chat people will try for it. Not always though obviously lol that’s why I still say long duration

it can totally work if u say place it at river bush, uncover an enemy ward and don't take it leave it be, and I bet u anything that the enemy will go try take out that pink ward very fast specially at low elo where ppl just disregard not only the jungler but u just chilling at ur tower and then going through ur jg and using the explosive thing to jump at them when he tries to destroy ur pink I can tell u that alone got me many kills as a jax player. You don't always need a HUGE plan / coordination with ur jungler to get a kill by using ur pink as baits. Ik is a year late but hopefully it helps u or any1 else who is wondering about this.
