Just offering my two cents. It’s a bit hard for people here to coach you because obviously no one here has seen you swim. But one common problem with breathing during freestyle I think is the “separation” of the breathing (tilting your body to the side) and the recovery of the breathing arm over the water. They should be one unified motion and not “separate”. When we stretch out our left arm, our body naturally tilts to the right and vice verse. Use this natural tilt to help you breathe easier. Hope this helps.
