They probably just died in there a lot. Because spikes. I love that Shrine, too.

your definition of death trap reminds me of the "death option" in portal 2

Portal 2 is such an amazing game, love it

@Drakenwild I like that game a lot too! Though, that also might be because portal 1 was one of the first games that I had ever played.

Sort of a tangent here, but I was under the impression that all or a significant percentage of the monks trials occur in something like the spirit realm, including the Tamer trials. Which is the real reason you can't leave the plateau. I'm pretty sure that's the case for anything with the foggy blue atmosphere, like in the Master Sword trials or the Blight rematches. Honestly, I am suspicious that the shrine interiors are too, but I digress. Because it's not used in a real world environment in the first place, I don't think we should just assume that the one hit obliterator would work the same in the "real" world.

Maybe. Never got that impression personally, but it is an interesting thought!

Not trying to be rude but there are multiple parts where you cut out purposely what lunera said They even said at the beginning of the video that this was just a theory and you cut out parts where they said where did the blight weapons come from the one thing that they didn’t point That was The only thing amongst give link is the Shika slate and the shrines and the runes But what do they give Gannon a Laser cannon acts and a giant spear Again not trying to be rude or anything but again it is just a theory

You aren't rude, don't worry. Discussions are good and welcome ;) Yes, I made massive cuts to the original video because otherwise mine would be around an hour long and I didn't think anything I cut out would make that length increase worth it - all arguments that were left out belonged to one of the categories I covered. What I did was pick the ones I found most interesting from each and reply to those to show my point. Dishonesty about arguments presented by lunarlla wasn't the goal at all, which is why I provided links to their channel and original video in the description - anyone interested in hearing out their side in full, can easily do so. They did say at the start that it's just a theory, yes. And It was a theory. I treated it as a theory. I don't really see the problem here. Being just a theory doesn't make it exempt from criticism nor less interesting to talk about. That said, sky won't fall if someone chooses to agree with lunarlla and not me or vice versa. Regarding the Blights - I treated "it's suspicious that they share attacks with Maz Koshia" and "where did they get their unique weapons from" as two seperate arguments. First one is self-contradictory and that's what was included. Second is actually logically sound but Shrines being death traps, Obliterator and Shrine of Resurrection beat it to the last section. Question of where Ganon got his Sheikah technology is a good one. Problem is that "monks gave it to him" isn't the only possible answer and there is no proof - or at least lunarlla didn't present any - that would back up this claim. What I think is more likely answer to this question is that Ganon got his technology from the Yiga Clan. Yiga are descendants of Ancient Sheikah, who diverted and swore loyalty to Ganon strictly because they were shunned and exiled for their technology, while ancestors of modern Sheikah chose to resign from it willingly to keep the peace. This is why modern Sheikah had no recollection of their technology and had to research it from scratch while Master Kohga retained access to runes, passed down through generations in his family and Yiga as a whole. Yiga are already openly allied with Ganon and they already have had access to the technology Ganon and Blights are outfitted with - there is no reason to think they weren't the ones who designed and provided Ganon's spear and cannon. Saying that only things monks gave Link are Slate, Runes and Shrines is incorrect. As I've mentioned at the end of the video, the first and most important thing they did for him was save his life. It would be super easy and barely an inconvenience for Maz Koshia to bring down Stasis Pool Link was unconscious in - remember that this whole room was a hidden elevator - and just stab him to death while he was defensless. If monks really are evil, not doing that to instead try to kill him covertly later, when he is more than capable to fight back, is a cartoonish plot and makes them out to be bumbling idiots. Especially if you consider that each time this "plot" of theirs fails, they make Link just a bit stronger and provide him with extra materials and weapons to defend himself with. It's a sort of evil plan Doofenshmirtz would come up with.

@Drakenwild I read that hole thing in one sitting, somehow that is the second time that has happened for me, and if I had a nickel for every time I had read I over 100 letter long comment then I would have 2 nickels which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.
