Living in Japan, they have the adventure offroad (TRD Offroad in the states) available in hybrid. Delivery is expected for May!

Thank you Sam . . . You do a realistic great review; an insight into whether this vehicle would be a right fit for you. The gadgetry is nice but, with only 4 cylinder horsepower . . . I don’t think so💭. Thanks Sam! ❤

Thanks for that!

Good point about no heads up display or pano roof in Canada. Toyota definitely is missing some of the bells & whistles of other manufacturers but, as you noted, you always see a lot of older Toyotas still running and still looking great. They’ll hold up a lot better than the Fords, Kia, etc.

please be warned toyota rav4 2023 has a buggy and frustrating media system. they said its made by Panasonic, but how would that matter? basic features like android auto don't work well The wireless carplay keeps screwing up and takes like 1-2 min to start, that is extremely bad as compared to kia and honda with similar systems.

Luxurious powerful RAV4

I think it’s a 10.5 inch screen, all models come with 10.5 inch screen in the UK. I’m picking up mine next week and the screen looks exactly this size and it’s 10.5 not 12.

I had a 2021 rav4 xse..I had it for 1 year and 13k miles. I sold it because I had the opportunity to make $5k over what I paid for it, and I wanted something with more power. After I sold it, I couldn't really decide on what to get next. So, I went and ordered the same exact thing (this time being a 2023) because there wasn't anything I wasn't really 'unhappy' with with the rav4 (well..except for the exterior mirrors shake when driving in any 2019+ rav4 and it's really annoying). The new rav took about 7 months to come in, during that time I 'accidentally' bought a 2023 hyundai santa fe limited. There is nothing I don't like about the santa fe except the fuel economy (I average 20mpg, where I got 45+ all day everyday with the rav4 and I drive the same exact way [aggressively]). The rav4 came in and I went and test drove it, mirrors still shake like there is no tomorrow. Center screen and gauge cluster (the one I ordered had the digital screen) are better then what I had on the 2021, but everything else is exactly the same. I was planning on selling the santa fe when the rav4 came in and getting it, very glad I didn't because I would have been kicking myself in the ass.. santa fe is better in every way except the mpgs.

You will want the RAV4 back before long the DCT transmission im the Santa Fe is awful and we are already running into metal shavings and oil consumption on the new Santa Fes with the 2.5 Turbo engine sad they are nice but I work at a dealer and they are not good for any longer term quality work for Hyundai and have a Camry and 4Runner

2.5 with sports mode would be great..... equivalent to 3liter engine

They need to bring the 3.5 V6 back as an option for the Rav4! The 3.5 had good power and reliability with decent fuel economy Now if you want a Rav 4 with a little bit of power, you have to contend with a boring CVT transmission 🤮
@TallTimbersUSA Жыл бұрын
Exactly, it was honestly pretty funny when the V6 Rav4 was the quickest vehicle in Toyota's lineup.
@bogart51315 ай бұрын
so better if I order v6 highlander than this 2.5 rav4?

Was deciding between X3 or Rav Prime. Resale considerations swayed me towards Toyota.

Did you get a RAV4. Prime?

If you're a car/driver enthusiast, the X3m40i is WAY more exciting and fun to drive than any Rav4, no question! If you just want a reliable people mover with some pep and don't mind the CVT transmission, the Rav4 prime is a fine choice.

But i already have a 340i. Needed a “to the store” car and it should be good for that

I’ve given up on them. They’re pathetic. But yes I am a RAV4 Hybrid fan as I own one. Cheers NZ.

Well if they add 2.4 turbo with those changes I would take it but it still lacks Honda lane centering all time. Too much cost for what you get at this moment.

The interest rate too
@bogart51315 ай бұрын
add also a battery aside from turbo..... so in the city battery will work and in highway, turbo will work. that would be great
@ItsAlive111 Жыл бұрын
Of course you should upgrade. People should buy Toyota’s like BMWs, lease them and get a new one every 3 years. The perpetual car payment is what makes the economy strong. If you don’t like to lease get a 60, 80, 100 month loan with 8% interest. If you ever pay it off, you would make a ton of money for the bank. Thank you for stimulating the economy and supporting your local bank profits. Enjoy your 12” screen on your RAV4

Overpriced and poor sound insulation.. base Camry SE provides much better driver experience for less money. Reliability? There are many issues with 2019-2021 Rav4, roof leak, transmission leak, side mirrors needs extra brackets as they vibrating on the highway. Poor assembly quality at kentucky plant. How do I know? I have camry hybrid2022 with the same engine and my timing cover leaks, engine needs to be dropped in order to reseal.😢😢 next time i buy Japanese made only👍🏻

Exactly, always go for made in Japan

Nice car. Screens are rubbish. Kia and Hyundai 12 inch screens are 300% better, and fast, not leggy like the RAV hybrid screen.

Toyota probably has one the worst voice recognition softwares in the car industry.
@alvinsimba734 Жыл бұрын
When you buy toyota, you.not buying it for its software, you are buying for point A to point B. If you want software use your computer in your house. Toyota was never known for awesome software to begin with.
