I’m convinced no one in the comments have owned a JLR product. Look Lexus is known for reliability, but that’s it. The Defender FEELS AND LOOKS more luxurious. The drive quality as an off roader is also superior. I’m in a Mercedes currently but would still pick the JLR product

I’m stuck on ICE. Watched reviews of many EV’s. Some look cool and have innovative features. The inconvenience of short range and low/high temperatures having an effect troubles me. The disconnect from the transmission (cvt) makes me uncomfortable too. To each their own. Some enjoy them for personal reasons. I’m not one of them. ✌️

Driving all 3 all the time , the Audi by a mile. It handles the best, fastest , and has the most comfortable seats. The Genesis is nice and has the maot features but feels slow and lazy for thr power and doesn't even get thr quoted gas mileage. The bmw is boring and the base models are car to basic, a camry is nicer, gas mileage is the only upside.

Even in the movie Cars 2, the lemon boss car was a Land Rover. They do make beautiful cars but never reliable cars. Lexus is way better overall and specially for longevity and value.

For daily use, the Defender is much better choice. It drives pretty much like a car rather than truck but is still very capable offroad and still gives you that commanding seting position (what i am after in this type of SUV's). Also you can access it much more conveniently. If you have to often cary someone with mobility issues like me, forget about the GX or LandCruiser...seniors with mobility issues can't exit or enter it on their own, they need assistance each time and it is also stressful for them (now i talk about my own experience with my mother). I am currently driving Lexus RX but will be switching to Defender. To me, thay have absoultely nailed it with the Defender!
