I'm weighing out whether I want to do PowerSheets this year. I got them in 2020 and we all know the level of insane that year was. If I get them I'm leaning toward the Jade. The green and gold together look really pretty.

I purchased the power sheets in Perennial ❤❤ also the guide book, bookmarks, tending tape, snap in post it flags, goal stickers, and a pencil pouch. It’s my first year to purchase but have watched the power sheet videos for a few years.

I ordered the crocus and am excited for it to arrive next week!!!! Just joined your membership even though I am not a homeschooling mom. I am a grandparent (one child has homeschooled children) who is still pursuing academic goals (read as going for another post-masters). I am looking forward to the productivity sprints and also the goals setting content.

I used the PowerSheets this year, and I liked it and felt like the effort was worthwhile, but I want to try something different next year. I’m trying the MakseLife companion notebooks for next year. They have almost no prep work, so I’m not sure how I feel about that. I may use my old Power Sheets to journal in a notebook to set my initial goals. I do like the compass assessment in MakseLife. I’m not sure. We’ll see. I had to stop myself from buying both. The crocus color is so pretty this year. I wish the PowerSheets didn’t feel quite so formal and shiny/floral. The more casual feeling of MakseLife seemed appealing to me strangely. Thanks for the video! I love hearing what others are doing (or considering…haha) and the thought process behind it.

I considered getting the companion notebooks last year! They look really lovely. The lack of prep work and setting the goals within the different categories from the compass assessment made me decide to use my own notebook rather than anything. One of the reasons I had stepped away from the PowerSheets in 2022 was because they started to write them through the lens of the CLE categories - they would lead you through setting goals in those specific categories. While I like to visit those categories to kind of give myself a sense of the pulse of those categories, I create my own categories that make sense to me. Some would fit under the CLE categories in PowerSheets and some would work through the Compass Assessment categories, but I just name them different things. I ended up printing out the compass assessment free printable and using that periodically throughout the year to help prompt me with some of my goals. I would love to hear what you think of the journals when you get them!

The Crocus is so so pretty! Yes, I agree, this launch has been amazing. Do you tend to be wordy during the prep work like me? Or is this prep work space just the right amount for you?

@@Townsendhouse1 it’s usually good for me but if I need more I will add pages with washi! I add in scripture and prayers that way a lot.

What I did when I would add pages was just to take a piece of printer paper, or notebook paper, cut it to the size that fits in the PowerSheets, and then tape it to the top or bottom of the page. Then I would just fold that page up or down. So I would write on the page before I taped it in, and then I would tape it into the section that I needed more space. If you think of something like a lift the flap book, it is similar. So you just have one or multiple pieces of paper taped in. It isn't like adding pages in a disc system. Hope that helps!
