It's beautiful and runs great all the time on my AMD based hardware. I've never needed mods for any of the Bethesda games to enjoy them, though I added some mods in Skyrim the third time I played it just for fun. I'm not really tempted to add mods for Starfield because I like the way they made it. I don't know why you had so much trouble (assuming you've actually played the game) unless you're trying to play on very weak hardware, which wouldn't work regardless of the company that made it as these games are demanding. I watched a fascinating video about Nintendo's meticulous design philosophy for Tears of the Kingdom's open world to make sure it was engaging, interesting, and that players wouldn't just run in a straight line. They figured out how to make it so that you would discover things that you were interested in by yourself, but how those discoveries were actually in a planned out graph to move you towards the important story locations. Bethesda on the other hand just spent the last 5 years procedurally generating terrain and saying "Yeah, that looks good enough I guess. Not that I have to worry that anyone's going to see it, because they're going to bee-line towards this one quest." Its amazing that we treat Bethesda with the same kiddie gloves we use on single-developer indie studios, despite how much money and former talent they're sitting on.

@@TitaniumTomcat No, outer wilds. It released the same year as outer worlds and both were too stubborn to change their name. Outer wilds is absolutely amazing though. It's a time loop game where the only upgrade you ever gain is knowledge, but each bit of knowledge you aquire changes something significant about the gameplay. Please don't watch anything but the official trailer before playing it, as spoilering is equivalent to just skipping part of the game

And the limit of 10 ships really helps as well!
