I kinda like them over BotW’s emptiness though. Too many times in BotW I felt like getting to the next destination just took way too long.
@ElsyeaR3 жыл бұрын
@@sasook I kinda agree and disagree, since it comes to how we go about BotW. I like to get lost along the way, because there's always something to do going from A to B. A shrine, a camp, a korok, a boss, another shrine, etc... I Wind Waker it took long going from an island to another since there's rarely something in between, but the feeling of solitude is a part of this game since you alone go look for your sister. But for Skyward Sword ? Not much discovery and tangent. Go A to B. Forest, mountain, desert. Do it all once again. Even compared to OoT or MM where you also visit the same place, in those game they are completely different. But in SS ? The drowned forest or the infiltration of the mountain? Good ideas, but too little, not enough.
@sasook3 жыл бұрын
@@ElsyeaR What you listed was a big gripe I had with the game - no matter where I went, the large majority I was finding exactly what you said, shrines/koroks/camps/miniboss over & over & over & over & over again. Sure SS can be repetitive too but at least it’s not a 200 hour game. Exploring BotW’s map takes _forever_ & I found it very annoying & very repetitive to encounter the same stuff regardless of region for literally hundreds of hours. So in that regard I actually do prefer the SS “one & done” approach where the game makes it clear like “this is what there is to see here, & you won’t see it elsewhere, so enjoy it” for each region.
