Honestly, the Valk Queen is one of the best boss battles I've experienced. Its one of those few times that, after upgrading all my gear to the best stuff in the game, I walk away from a boss fight thinking "wow, I actually needed all those upgrades"

Yes, it was tough as Helheim. The only other game boss that was similarly hard to beat was the Frog Lord in HOUSE, but that was more annoying because you had to replay the entire day every single time.

If anything, she's the easiest of them because you already know every move she's gonna do. Radec on the hardest difficulty however... or grenades in WAW Veteran. Maybe Hollow Knight True end. Godmaster to beat Absolute Radiance.

It’s sort of ironic how that, while pace breakers, the side quests and optional objectives are pretty fun to do as players, while very boring to watch as a bystander.

I think what is considered a pacebreaker is really an individual taste sort of thing. A player deciding to do some side quests will return to the main quest when they feel ready to do so, setting their own pace. Having an audience means that everyone has a different preferred pace and it can be frustrating when they want to keep a quicker pace than the person playing.

Freya says that after you kill her son Baldur. The reason why it is so intense is because she went to EXTREME lengths to make sure that he was immortal. She gave up being the Queen of the valkyries, had a curse placed on her that made her incapable of defending herself from threats, and was willing to die at his hands for his sake.

I remember fighting Sigrun, took me hours to come up with every dirty trick to take advantage of every opening she had, and many more hours to execute it perfectly. I had the same energy as 9:10 , and ended the same situation in 9:53. Fighting the Valkyries is probably one of the most satisfying sidequest I've played.

Just finished the main storyline on PS4 yesterday evening. What an amazing game! I legit cried a little after farming for better gear for days to beat Sigrun. I had her down to smidgen of her heath, and she came back and whooped me like a child. She stood between me and the Platinum trophy. So I farmed a few more days, then came back. After about what seemed liked 1000 tries, my wife told me I should just give up. The day I finally beat her was the most satisfying moment I've ever had playing a video game. Cory Barlog and the entire team did a hell of a job on that game! I'm ready for Ragnorok!
