Hi Nathalie! This started as a one length cut. The back layers simply get longer towards center back to meet the perimeter.

I'm confused, you made a guide in the bang area before you started cutting which you brought the sides up to, then you cut the guide off to make a bang?

The first guide was more for the face framing layers. If you want you can leave it long. The fringe is optional.

Hi! Thanks for the question. If the hair is super straight I would choose the Sam Villa Reversible Blending Shears to cut the stationary guide for the layers to keep it a bit softer.

So is the guide 90 degrees the everything is pulled forward to the guide? Then same thing with section behind it,but the back of the last section is the guide? Im confused unless they say what angles it is

The entire top section (top and crown) is all brought forward at 45° and pulled into the center to make the hair flow to center back.
