That single arm upright row is pure golden. I've been trying it for a couple months and the results and sensations it delivers are completely unique, its a totally different type of contraction than that of the lateral raises provide. I think it might be because it allows for the side deltoid to be fully shortened with heavier loads as it behaves more as a compound lift for the side deltoid. Anyway great video and impeccable lifting technique by this guy.

Do you still do this mate? I did it today and it’s unreal.. got a huge side delt pump with it using 18kg got 10 reps out of it

OMG. I love this guy! One of the only workouts I have tried for shoulders that truely works to the fullest, especially using the rotator cuff stuff included. I gave this workout 12 honest weeks and kept changing it up using his exercises his way and my shoulders in 12 weeks have almost doubled in size and I havn't gained a single pound or had to change my diet at all. I'm 165 lbs and started off pressing 60lb dumbells and now I am pressing 75's for 5 sets of 10-12 reps with no spot and full range of motion. I still can't believe it, but if your smart I would suck it up and do exactly what this guy tells you to do for results without roids or a whole lot of diet changing

Keyboard warriors like to call anyone more muscular than them "on steroids," like it means how fit the dude is is immediately made irrelevant. Yes, there is a 99% this guy takes steroids, but that doesn't mean it's easy to look like this. Don't kid yourself, he had to work his ass off to get to this level.

His tips on exercising the rotator cuff muscles is very valid. Equally valid is the advice to work the short hip external rotators (SHER) muscles - now often referred to as the "hip cuff" for the same reason. As a sports physician, primary prevention is certainly preferable for any athlete than secondary prevention!
