“If you can do the ordinary properly, the extraordinary will take care of itself” 💚💚💚
@soren88583 жыл бұрын
My favourite interview so far. I think this was the poem- “Do not ask your children to strive for extraordinary lives. Such striving may seem admirable, but it is the way of foolishness. Help them instead to find the wonder and the marvel of an ordinary life. Show them the joy of tasting tomatoes, apples and pears. Show them how to cry when pets and people die. Show them the infinite pleasure in the touch of a hand. And make the ordinary come alive for them. The extraordinary will take care of itself.” Willian Martin

1 hour 49 minutes well spent! So refreshing to watch SWL sharing his life's journey! Its no mean feat to crack the UPSC, but what impressed me most was his simple and genuine demeanour and his articulate answers to all the queries! Wish I had spend my Delhi days like SWL and not partying around Indira Vihar and Outram Lines 😜 damn!

Sincerely appreciate both sides of the table sharing unreserved meaningful learning experiences and bounce of information. Home away from home and this podcast is a way to get to know our people and the work they're involved in. Thank you!

You definitely got one vote from me to do away with NLTP Act. Looking at how most of the Nagaland registered vehicle heading off to Assam for the obvious reason. Our state is literally funding the development of our neighbouring states. And hopefully you could take up the topic of markets being open on Sundays too 😊.

This pandemic has accelerated the pace of technological advancement, and it is here to stay and the way of the future, if I can drop a hint for future guests, someone engaged in IT/ Digital Technology & Education sector. The majority of educational institutions have shifted to remote/online learning environments. Is there a collaboration & integration of technology in the Education sector in our state? Lack of Digital technologies and under-resourced schools is uncertain in our state-run schools. Taking the current scenario of sports analogy. I'd love to hear from someone who has knowledge of statistics in the Education sector & integration of IT in Education.

28K watched the podcast but only 9.75 Subscribers as of today. This channel needs genuine supports from across the state or even beyond. On the contrary, some Naga girls simply go online on utube just to boil one egg n they gain 60k, 70k, n even 1Lakh subscribers. So basically that's where we are. 😂😂
