Many, many years ago. I had a friend ask if I would go see a band called "Barenaked ladies" with her. Being a life long metal head I had never heard of them, or any of their songs. Pre-show I couldn't believe the energy in the building. When the lights went down the place erupted, as much excitement as I had ever seen. Being used to the bombast of Heavy Metal shows I had my expectations set very low. These guys were nothing short of amazing. Left there a life long fan of their music.

The girlfriend who introduced me to The Barenaked Ladies shared that old apartment with me - a two up two down in the first housing belt of London.
