Been listening to Shovels and Rope for 11 or 12 years and I'm constantly surprised that (at least on youtube) their following is not 100 times bigger than it is. The music is honest and brutal and beautiful. They have a truly phenomenal musical chemistry along with a whole host of original tunes that lay me flat every time I listen. This song is no exception.
