1:06:50 The best off-color card to see is clearly Tantrum. Doubles your damage _and_ has great strength scaling? Perfect! Sure, you die immediately to the heart, but BIG NUMBER.

What do you call a robot that operates a ferry while wearing an extravagant robe? A Pomp Isle Driver.

2:34:59 watcher: already has too much damage dev: _lets give her a common card that does 7 damage x 3-5 times un-upgraded, which translates to 42-70 damage in Wrath without strength or vul_

Comunity was to harsh for the devs when watcher was released. It was deamed to weak. We got what we've got. It's a shame the devs didn't want to nerf watcher back 😢

I feel like I'm alone in the community as The Watcher is my favorite character. Not because she's overpowered, but because she makes me think of balance, which reminds me of my astrological sign, Libra, or scales. I recently have been diagnosed with a manic disorder. When I'm not taking care of myself, my emotions are all over the place. The Watcher feels like manic representation to me in a weird way. Normally, mania is depicted with negative representations in media, and I feel like The Watcher is the opposite.

@@TobeyFairre7861 hahahha good for you). I mean, a lot about watcher is good, as about all characters in sts. She's just too OP so boring to watch (but I like playing on her)

The knowledge argument about rerolling does not make sense because knowledge is already a big part of mastering a roguelike/roguelite.

I think of it as about how a game handles randomness, to maximize a brotato shop re roll there's hundreds of different possible outputs to consider for a relatively minor cost. It's less that you can use information to gain an advantage and more that the effort to fully leverage your available information is so wildly disproportionate to the advantage you gain (saving like 10 money on not rerolling) that the choice isn't worth the time to actually fully consider.
