If I recall correctly, this episode was recorded just a couple of weeks after the gigs at Winterland Ballroom, San Francisco, that make up about half of the tracks on "Frampton Comes Alive". Imagine being in that audience, on that day, hearing all these amazing songs for the very first time!

And every one of those records, I distinctly recall, was out near the turntable, never put away with the other LPs. Every copy I saw had a disc-shaped bit of wear and tear on the cover (and, of course, a few stems and seeds stuck inside). I'm so impressed that Mr. Frampton not only survived his mega-fame , but somehow emerged from it all with grace, humility, and an intact work ethic. And he's still with us, and still kills it live! I was 10 when the album Frampton Comes Alive! Was released. My godfather bought the album came to my home and played all of it. He really got to enjoy the seventies since he was in his twenties.

Real talent no computers. I miss the music about love. We need more of that for our children instead of the snake music of this fallen world with no morals left.

Framptom Comes Alive was such a monster album. Everybody seemed to have it. "Somebody put on an album" called across the room. Safe choice. The party moves on.

I love his music since 1977; I was living in the country side, in Guatemala , Central América and when I was 14 years old I made I promise to myself and to a friend that one day I would attend one of his concerts "No matter what" and, when I was almost 40 years old, I flew to New York ( around 2004!) went to Westburry: one of the best memories of a dream coming true: "Simply seeing him playing his guitar _in front of me_: Now in 2024 my children love his music as well!

From relative obscurity to classic rock guitar god to top forty teeny bopper to Sargent Peppers Lonely Heart Club Band with the BeeGees to relative obscurity. All in five years. That’s an accomplishment. Pete, you rock.
