Is anyone else getting really tired of games companies thinking that the ONLY mode that their games need is an online multiplayer? I mean, I remember the days when the single-player element was the main draw of a game and the multiplayer was a fun extra for when you had friends over... I miss those types of games... :(

Warhawk absolutely agree! I'm all about story driven games; I'll usually play a bit of multiplayer but focus on the single player campaign. I made an exception for Overwatch though, and I love TF2. I think maybe it's that most multiplayer modes are a but predictable and samey. 🤔

Good single-player games still totally exist though. The Last of Us, Dishonored 1 and 2, Tomb Raider reboot series, This War of Mine, Undertale, Witcher, Bioshock series, Ori and the Blind Forest, Nier: Automata. And if your key priority is story, then there's always theTelltale series, What Remains of Edith Finch, Firewatch...

Totally agree man. Games like Knights of the Old Republic (1 and 2), COD, Halo and loads of others (Dragon Age) are all the more awesome because you go it solo. Resi Evil and most horror games work well as you are isolated and need to think / survive on your own. Having multiple characters would just ruin the atmosphere for say Dead Space or Doom. Doom Marine stands at the gates of hell (yes please) Doom Marines stand at the gates of hell (yawn)

Hey Luke, There are people who have successfully used human senses to develop their own Echolocation. If it’s dark around you, and you use the sounds of your breathing, voice and footsteps along with the differences between the way they sound to navigate a darkened room, you are using Echolocation. Also, people can often tell even without making their own noise if something is nearby using the way ambient noise bounces off of your environment to determine approximate proximity. If you have access to a basement, or just any tightly packed, echoey room, use your voice (short, sharp sounds like clicking) to try and navigate by sound.
