This is one of the best songs and vidoes of the Jackson brothers peforming together. The song is a classic that has the unmistakable Philadelphia sound that was so popular and distinct back then. Michael looks SUPER COOL here. Confident, sure of himself and understated swag but swag nonetheless. Personally I think here he looks so much better without the changes that would come later. Masculine yet with incredible presence and that charm that came so natural to him. His look for thriller was perfectly fine. It was a mesh of this with added maturity. Jackie the older brother is one slick dancer. Very smooth moves. Marlon at times seems a bit off, just a bit, not much but overall these were some very, very talented brothers who put down some serious feel good and uplifting music that STILL stands the test of time.

Dude to be clear the Osmonds came first in 1958 and the Jacksons in 1963. The Jacksons were great. They really should have taken the song written for them that became a big hit for the Osmonds "One Bad Apple". Barry Gordy turned it down. Both groups were very good at the time.

I used to try dance like that, I could do almost everything but the spins...lol I was extremely jealous that my fro could never have that bounce and perfect shape... during this era, he always seemed to be happy and smiling when performing, it made you want to dance and feel that happiness too... this song just has a sooooothing quality to it... I'm a huge Prince fan, but MJ was greatness too, both their stars shined brightly, and both are gone too soon...Thanks MJ during this era for showing us the way to go.....

this was Epic Records/CBS.. FROM WIKI: The Jacksons is the eleventh studio album by the Jacksons, the band's first album for CBS and under the name "the Jacksons," following their seven-year tenure at Motown as "the Jackson 5". Jackson 5 member Jermaine Jackson stayed with Motown when his brothers broke their contracts and left for Epic, and he was replaced by youngest Jackson brother Randy. The album was released in 1976 for Epic Records and Philadelphia International Records as a joint venture.

What pure aura of love he had. It just resonates in his singing and dancing seriously speaking...it makes my heart happy to see him doin' what he did best. Little Randy on the bongos and the smokin' hunk of masculinity, Jackie, shakin his groove thing. I will never understand why Micheal didn't realize how beautiful he was ! People blame Joe but it wasn't all his doing.Joe was hard like any other working class father in poverty raising 6 sons. The family all traded barbs and teased each other.Micheal was brutal to Randy and janet growing up.I seen it myself. When the Jacksons got to Hollywood and they were in a class by themselves. We loved them ,all of them not just Micheal. They conformed to what was around them.I see a makeup artist talk about how bad Micheals skin was and he didnt have the right color makeup and was mad because he had to blend different colors.in the early 80's Micheal was was a world renowned STAR and a funky ass makeup artist reduced him to tears.
