Hubby and I followed the band around a lot back in the 70s and 80s. Trev is my husbands cousin and my daughter's godfather. Danny was a lovely guy too. Always friendly and polite. We had lots of good times with them all.

i did see the shawaddywaddy at abeypark in 1984 it was raining heavily i zas a single mum this chap said to me would i like. Lift i said yes .i only found out he was in the Shaw waddy.but hw said hw left in 1984.ihe was with with bis wifw who was a dancer.i couldn't believe it.buf yes i had a album and he was definitely a shawaddy😢 he was so kind giving me and my babies a lift home .i spoke to davids mother sge was so beautiful.happy lovely dark bair looked like Elizabeth taylor i am sorry i never met you david bartrem 😢but sing on Louis my favourite song 😂xx

I saw Showaddywaddy live on stage in Birmingham (UK) when they were in the charts regularly. They were amazing live. If memory serves they did two 45 minute sessions and they never missed a note!

It was often the TV show lack of technology that made them mime to track - even top of the pops used to make them record the track in sound studio then mime to that track on the TV show. Showaddywaddy always preferred to sing live and like lots of groups of similar mind mugged up a bit to the backing track so it was obvious it wasn't sung live. Great band live and new 2022 lineup has the original enthusiasm of live Showaddywaddy show back. Well worth seeing them live next year 2023 when celebrate 50th year
