Although I didn’t particularly love most of the designs, I’m thrilled design is flourishing again. I think with the high priced homes nowadays, people are not designing for others. I think people can nest comfortably now in their particular ideas. I feel we can breathe again. Don’t get me wrong, as far as home prices increasing, I just can see the correlation between that and people designing for themselves and not for future home buyers. I love that full room wall paper is back! Including materials that wouldn’t necessarily be ‘normal’ or socially or conventionally acceptable.
