But anyway, my list was always very weird: 1. Ymir 2. Gabi 3. Reiner 4. Historia 5. Hange. Erwin and Armin are great too. Eren is also a masterpiece when analyzing the whole thing. And I simp for Annie lol. But I had to pick only my favorites for their writing.

I'm really sorry but I never understood why the fandom always asked for more Mikasa and stuff, I just like the other characters so much more anyway and I think she has her role on the story and if the had more the spotlight these other great characters couldn't exists, it would be like any other show that the protagonists receive all the screen time, I think it is great that every character is somewhat limited so all of them can have their place.

I think maybe AoT should have ended here. It just feels like such a beautiful and appropriate place to end it. We have already arrived to the ultimate point of the show, which (to me) is that relentless pursuing of freedom leads you to seek power and hence trample on the freedom of others, and so the cycle of oppression continues.
