Twice now you’ve both mentioned that you wouldn’t want to be the Cart Titan. It could be interesting to ponder which Titans you *would* want to be. It’s a bit soon since your mom hasn’t seen the Warhammer yet, but it could be a neat bonus at some point for you to each discuss it. For me, it’s a little less about what I’d “like” since all options are to be cursed in many ways and expected to fight. So my musings are more about, “Which Titans could I use effectively.” I’m not coordinated or physically skilled, so Titans like Beast, Jaw, Female, or Attack would be lame under my control. But in most situations, I could probably make solid use of Colossal, Armored, or Cart, since they’re more about strategy, putting yourself in the right place, and knowing what goal to commit to

What i like with u and ur mom's reaction is that you take time to understand the story. Your mom mentioning the scouts name feels like she got attached to them. ☺️ And as someone who seen this show a lot, like you, I can relate how rewatching AOT we can understand and enjoy it still and the realizations and feels. 😢

Your mom might not have recognized Eren and Jean, but I’m totally with her regarding Marley. The story is wisely showing us mostly enslaved Eldians as the POV from Marley, because otherwise we’d have no sympathy at all. Eldia might have done horrible things in the past, but currently, the Marleyan government is the faction using Titans and slave soldiers to commit war crimes on the rest of the world. So I felt great sympathy for a lot of the people in Marley, but that government and military *suck*
