The laughter got me!! Hearing your daughter laugh brought back memories of my own. 😂❤️ I miss those days, they grow so fast. Make sure you keep a mental snapshot of memories because they are over in a flash. Just a hint… use words like “ we” instead of “I” and “our” instead of “My” when talking to or about your family. Even if it is just your plan and you know it’s your plan, when it’s all said and done it will make them inclusive in it and feel more like theirs and not just yours.

I’m a 50 year old man, sat on the other side of the world [UK] and have only recently stumbled across your channel. I have binged every episode from the inserting of the metal pins into the boulders, through to this episode (so far). The father and son sat in front of the fire in a dried in cabin with a closing door made me choke back tears. Then this. The wife and daughter. The reason for all your hard work.. You were absolutely right to turn off the cameras. That memory is for you and your family only. I live with a wife who has had similar health issues and know only too well how important time with her is. So tears were flowing. You don’t need to hear it from me, but you should be enormously proud of your achievements and your attitude to family and life in general. You are awesome.

I hope your wife is getting better. I haven't watched your channel in awhile. My wife passed of brain cancer in September of 2019. My son was 8 when she passed. We, like you guys, spend alot of time together making wonderful memories. You are correct in not seeing through a lens. My thought is film it all. Share only some. I wish I had recorded more. I hope you can look back as a family at the recordings are hold each other tight and remember the Lord's blessings he has given you. Your strong family bond, not just your wife and child, but your family as a whole is a blessing. I pray you and your family and how you will overcome her illness.
