Alhamdulillah you finally left hood brother. I find the accent in Toronto are pretty cool, some other people may feel annoyed by this accent. I can kinda relate on the accent too a little. From Durham, and grew up in a pretty white suburban neighborhood. When, I moved to Peel region my brown highschool classmates told me that I sound too white. Fitting in, was kinda awkward for me. It's a weird position to be in because, it was hard to relate with white kids beacuse, I wasn't white like them but, also couldn't fit in with my own ethnicity people because, I sound and talk too white.

I guess The Vern is really bad now. I went to Mother Teresa back in the 90s and it wasn't a bad area. It had certain places that were bad but not the whole hood. Great documentary!! All i can say is believe in your dreams and dont let anyone take it from you. If you want out..... you gotta be disaplined and study hard. If many before you got out you can do it too!!

Yeah you're right, dont listen to this clown, hes not even from here. The place he showed were condos (they're old ones but still condos). The only main hoods in the vern are Wickson/Brenyon, Crow Tr, Empringham, and Crosstrraxx with some smaller government housings in surrounding areras. The place this clown showed wasnt even the hood lol

Cus the part he showed wasnt even the hood, they were condo apts (they're old, but condos). Malvern is a big neighborhood with hoods within it. Not every part is the hood.
