9/1/24: This was absolutely wonderful to watch; I was blown away. I LOVE the Victorian era when it comes to creating anything, but never have I seen something so beautiful as this, words alone cannot express more. I'm loving the layers and how it all comes together. I will be printing out images on fabric, I've done it before, so I'm familiar, however, I will have to figure out a way to make my own yarn closure. I started making my book last night, but I got carried away and it was a bit too long, so I had to cut it down (Aargh!); but the size is perfect now. I just so happened to have a brown envelope, like the one you used with that crunchy sound affect (Yes!), from Amazon. I will never throw another one away ever again! It's amazing how I have to look at everything that comes into my home from a creative standpoint before I even think about throwing it away. Nevertheless, I'm so excited how mine is coming together and cannot wait until it's done, but I'm enjoying the process as I go. I want it to be perfect, and this is just the cover! I'm equally excited about making the inside signature pages and have coffee stained some papers to use when the time comes. I have no one in mind who will get this book when it's done, but it will HAVE to be someone very special who will appreciate and take care of it over the years. Your work is beyond exquisite, Anne, and I am truly inspired! I'm newly subscribed, so I cannot wait to see what else you've done. Thank you so much for sharing this project. 😘

Gorgeous work. Love your style. My favourite go for my journal covers, is the sturdy brown bags I get every time I shop at my local chemist. I love the idea of the floating signature. xx

I don't have the cotton shabby fiber stuff you used to make the closure and hold the signature in place. What do you suggest I use as a substitute? @@odulcina
