Showtek is a great duo. They have evolved like music has. Hardstyle is left to dj's who enjoy doing it all the time. Showtek obviously found more fame and fans with EDM and progressive house. Im sure if asked to do a techno or hardstyle set they would. They didnt sellout, fans just changed genres. They're one of my favorites duos. They bring alot of energy

Honeslty, Showtek should spin some of their old Hardstyle stuff even if its just for a small fraction of the set- the crowd would go absolutely bonkers. Similar to how Tiesto drops his old trance stuff during his sets. Back in '06 (Qlimax) was where they were actually doing it for the music. Don't get me wrong good big room, is good music, but 1hr 30min of it non-stop is just shear laziness and ignorance to EDM in general. Bring back some of your old shit guys!

It hurts to say this. But you sound just like everyone else now. Back when hardstyle was your thing, you could immediately recognize that it was Showtek, even without ever heard the track/song beforehand. I understand that you need to evolve in order to stay fresh. But why do you strive so hard to sound like Guetta or Tiesto. Almost the entire set had the same bassline and beat. You used to have so energetic sounds. Damn. It's a real shame. Well at least I still have the old tracks to listen and move to.
