This man played with the Bad Boy Pistons. Only to leave and wind up with arguably the best team of all time. Then after that somehow gets to join Kobe and Shaq for their first chip together. What a career!!

I went to speak he was like damn that a nice jersey.... Brigham young... Who you wearing? I turned around to his disappointment it was a Danny Ainge jersey... he said nah... get outta here. Lol we both laughed and he then shook my hand. Definitely a cool moment. 💪🏾👌🏾

Always great hearing these NBA stories from the 80s & 90s of the NBA. The ReDeem Team would have gave the Dream Team a good run in a best of Seven series.
@at1212b2 жыл бұрын
Sure. Redeem had to get streaky. But if you see Dream Team, they were much craftier players with unexpected plays, passing. MJ was just on cruise control and didn't even try in 1992 (look up his 84 games against NBA All-Stars). Rebounding, not even a comparison. Old school players and esp Dream Team grabbed rebounds with ferocity. Ruleswise, in early 2000s, NBA implemented rules that defensive couldn't impede the offensive player (including those without the ball). FIBA still has old rule where defense is allowed to. This is even NOTED in the Netflix documentary as to why US players had trouble in international games and if you look at 08, they just kept chucking shots from far away because they couldn't just run around freely without the ball. Dream Team would have absolutely grinded down any team as they were physically much tougher and played that style with ease. Remember, OLDER Malone and Stockton spanked Shaq and Kobe Lakers. So too many people just dismiss how effective a 'lower' part of that team was.
