Class of 98' in Broward County. Played against him and Clarence Gilbert at Dillard. I am so proud of him not for only what he has done on the court, but more for his voice off the court. He is a great guy at his core. I got to tell him that in person at FLL airport about 4 years ago. We all deal with things. Bouncing back is a testimony to who you truly are. Praying for his journey.

@bwilliams1815 Damn Clarence Gilbert!! I remember watching him at ABCD camp. That kid was nice.
@missayawkАй бұрын
I was at that ABCD camp as a spectator when Keyon and TMac was there. TMac was such an unknown his name wasn't in the camp roster. The coaches had to pencil it in. #175, I will never forget his number. When he threw that windmill dunk down on James Felton, who was about 6'10", the place went crazy. Coaches was throwing their notes, papers up in the air. I think they stopped the game for about 2 minutes so that everyone could calm down. Welcome home KD and stay home. This was a very good interview. Good job Matt. Im just surprised you guys got him first before Knuckleheads.

I went to middle school with him at Roger's middle school in fort Lauderdale where we went undefeated with him and Clarence Gilbert and they both went to Missouri after high school. But he went to cardinal gibbons for high school and Gilbert went to Dillard's for the first 2 years before he transferred to Dillard's. Dude was a monster, we all knew he was going pro in middle school but Clarence was scoring more but you knew he was the better player then. I was sad to hear he got in trouble but this dude is genuinely a very good dude. He'll get back into the game because he is just that guy. Basketball needs him. Very good human beings. I actually played against him in the park in middle school when we were in PE...great guy

Dillard High school legend. He was only there for one year but I've never seen a player like Keyon. Don't forget about Clarance "Tootie" Gilbert, he played with Keyon at Dillard. I knew they were making it to State that year. Keyon was special, he had Dillard's gym PACKED every game. I remember seeing them play Miami High and Undanis Haslim it was like watching Jordan vs Kobe. Keyon brought great times to the game of basketball. I was so young,but I remembered the games watching Keyon. Peace and blessings to him and his family. 🙏🏽🐾🔵⚪️➡️⚫️🟡🐾

Keyon, I remember when you was about 5 or 6 years old and he and his dad would pick-up his brother Leroy from practice at Stranahan High School when I was the head jv basketball coach. You would be dribbling the basketball and your dad Leroy said it back then to me and my staff, my brother Mike and my other asst. coach George Adams: "You were going to be the best one!"... He was right! R.I.P. Mr. Leroy Dooling...
