They usually repeat shows when the school they are facing pose no threat( no band (Troy) , weak band(pvamu), or no dance team at all (famu).) the jukebox is taking a break for bigger game trust me. It’s still boring atp but it was a great field show. Before KZbin it was one show the whole damn season! Rarely new music and the same show because it wasn’t recorded and was new to every group we saw. This was late 90’s early 2000’s fyi. And you could never compare high school to college. These people are young adults figuring life, school, and multitasking out all at once. In highscool you are still being told what to do and guided. Routines are created for you verses doing them yourself. And a lot of high schools repeat or remix college dances anyways

From what I could research (the most recent data available), it's about 9.8% for 4 years 2017-2021, and most stay for 6 years with a graduation rate of 30%
