The manticore or mantichore is a Persian legendary creature similar to the Egyptian sphinx that proliferated in western European medieval art as well. It has the head of a human, the body of a lion and a tail of venomous spines similar to porcupine quills, while other depictions have it with the tail of a scorpion.

so basically manticore passive is: 100 stacks of ferocity gets u 1 stack of monstrosity which is a permanent 1% ability and true lifesteal, whenever u get one of these perma stacks, u get 6 seconds of 10+1% per level attack speed that's increased by 1s for every basic u hit, up to 12s most

Having a Manticore opens up the way for more monsters like the Sphinx, the Chimera or Ammit, and that's awesome. Monster characters are always the coolest in Mobas.

To answer your question, though it may be a little late - you are thinking of a Chimera which is a stitched together creature with various different parts often with the heads of a goat, lion, dragon and snake for the tail. Manticores are specifically lion/tiger like animals with the heads of humans and ejectable spines running down their tails. Manticore roughly translates to 'Man Eater' and was not originally depicted with wings at all - in fact the winged, scorpion tailed Manticore had never been depicted until Dungeons and Dragons included it within their game.

Just do what Incon does and call him Marty Edit: If Marty is in your game you need anti-heal. he gets 30% ability/auto lifesteal baked into his kit late game. and can sustain through a ton of damage with his 1.

his passive is simple btw. 100 stacks for it to stack 1 time on the lifesteal which maxes out at 30 stacks. so think of it as 3000 stacks to get his passive fully stacked

Herc did become a God in lore, Achilles didn't he was just a hero. Guan isn't a God, scylla and charybdis are both monsters in Greek mythology, arachnie is a monster, daji is a fox demon taking the form of the original daji. There's so many non God characters yet a lot of people complain when they add something that's not a god

So i just took a tally of how many of the characters in Smite are actually gods. Its not perfect, but there are approximately 82 gods, and the rest are creatures like Marty, demigods like Herc, beings that are more humanoid, like Medusa, and not quite gods like Ymir. At 125 thats about 2/3rds that are gods.

Tanks (mostly solo imo) are tanky this season but it's the most miserable season i've ever played as support. It's just so hard to get *any* farm, alot of games end before I even hit 20. It doesn't matter how good tank items are if you're 3-5 levels and a few thousand gold behind the enemy dps for the entire game.

I haven't played the new season yet ( because my console literally exploded ) , but even in season 9 as a support i was always one of the last to hit level 20 , which is normal except that i hit it way too after the enemy dps ( i was always around 2 levels behind even in my best games,maybe it's because i'm dogshit but i don't think i was the only one ) . So i'm kinda scared now that i saw this comment because it was already kinda hard as a support before but now it looks like it's even harder ...
