@20:05 - please compare the S22 motor to the S22 pro motor when you get one (show us the inner workings side by side). I want to know if Kingsong is actually upgrading the motor power or just giving us some sales BS.

One thing I see in this video is the greased parts need to be protected from kicked-up sand and dirt. From winter cycling experience, sand and dirt will stick to grease, and create an abrasive paste that will wear down any moving parts the grease is on. That is probably why you go through so many V11 sliders - and likely will with the V13 as well. I also see the grease and sand on the hub. A rubber seal like the later batches of V11 could work well here on the v13. The way the V13 electronics / electrical system is put together is very much like an Apple Macintosh. Very clean and orderly. I do agree with @tobymizewizeguy3559 that if you put on the Sherman-S suspension, and battery capacity of 3,600wh, this would be best wheel on the market.
@RresponsibleME Жыл бұрын
I may prefer this wheel all over all other wheels purely because of the build quality, The suspension has been the only drawback for me but I think I'll either run it without suspension or with the dampening as high as I can get it and just keep it soft with minimal rebound and avoid going over jumps and curbs and bumps as best I can.
@freeforester17172 жыл бұрын
It’s too bad that Inmotion have not provided any real explanation of how the suspension system (the main ‘advantage’ of this otherwise excellent wheel) is meant to be adjusted or indeed their design concept, which would give users a better insight and understanding of their function and adjustment. If it were a car, one would expect a bit of blurb at least explaining this, and a couple notes in the user manual, to help the user. It would be interesting to weigh the total amout of fixings, lol! I think it would be good to show the ’quick’ tyre change teardown, to help allay concerns of anyone looking to swap to a different tyre.
@grb1969 Жыл бұрын
Any indication who manufactures the shock cylinder? Part Number? It would be worth checking our several shock suppliers to find an alternative part source? And, if this is a standard design (highly likely) then we should be able to find a higher quality replacement unit. Personally, I will not buy the V13 or any suspension wheel unless the shocks are easily up-gradable and from multiple sources. The true "value" in the original military "Jeep" was that parts are readily interchangeable from multiple sources. The fact that there isn't an indexed indent on the shock adjustment is unacceptable for future batches as well.

The suspension design is the Achilles heel once again. It's designed to wear.
@QQ2516477422 жыл бұрын
So the wear on the suspension slider is inevitable for every V13?
@Hunter_Heart2 жыл бұрын
Suspension are really an after thought on V13 and prepare yourself for future replacements. They could cut down the screws with wires/cables hold down. There are not much rubber seals, I wouldn't ride V13 in the rain. Their waterproof rating is a joke, no need to show us the waterproof paperwork, inmotion. Love the tear-down.

@@TrungNguyenSquallLHeart I don't see the bearing that well protected, eevee boi even said it eventually dry out. I want a big chunk of marine greese at the bearing, but its not what I am seeing in the tear down. If its not water sealed like a boat, water will make it way in, eventually.
