It looks like a very well built light, and the diffusers solve a problem that many other lights have: You are stuck with whatever beam pattern you get, which does not always work out. Using this light with no diffuser will give you the most focused beam and best distance. The "narrow" diffuser keeps some distance and lights up a larger area, while the "medium" diffuser gives you an even larger area for trails and paths. It's a good choice, and the diffusers are small enough to carry just about anywhere. Here's a secret: I have an Eagle Eye XR5 light, and it doesn't have a diffuser, so I use a water bottle cap! I don't use it on my bike at all, but the diffuser comes in handy as a photography fill light.

That's very helpful! We realized that once we put the diffuser on we got a more even spread of light. It's definitely well built and versatile since you can mount it on the bike, a helmet or use it as a flashlight. And a water bottle cap is a great DIY diffuser! I remember using parchment paper on some old video lights for fill.

I've got 2 x 200 front and backs.. but going to pick one of these up. Use it on the front fender and throw that 200 on my helmet. Then one for floor strobe wheel light!?

That'll work! Lots of different ways to mount Shredlights which makes them a solid modular option for lighting.
