First time seeing Jon Boden solo was at Shrewsbury this year - he didn't disappoint! Showed great ability on various different instruments, as well as keeping things entertaining!

How deos the Guitar with Two capos World?. What I mean is how do the two capos make the Guitar sound differently isnt it enough with once capo?
@danbrazieruk4 жыл бұрын
The "higher" capo isn't covering the bass / lowest string(s) so he can move chord voicings higher, but keep the lower-sounding bass notes for those droning sounds. A lot of solo folk guys in particular use the Boss Octave pedal for it, which can push only the lowest note down an octave or two.

A complete disappointment; the man was amazing as Bellowhead’s lead singer, but this performance seems to be an attempt to sing blues, not British folk songs. He’s a fine guitar player, but Mr. Boden’s moaning into a microphone simply butchers these beautiful melodies.
