QPR man here. I know all about a dirt poor team attempting to perform above our paywage and constant threat of relegation. If you need to have a bit of positivity and rebuilding then "Wild Thing" is the real deal. He couldn't turnover our freefall, but his management is excellent for League 1 and 2. If you stick with him you may get relegated to league 2 but you will be promoted straight back 26 and be much stronger for it. Having him is scary, but his positivity and teambuilding is the real deal. Best of luck!

Gareth, 40 years since I left Shrewsbury in the days of Arthur Rowley and Jimmy Mclaughlin and Peter Broadbent, We had Joe Hart and Alf Wood all heroes at the old Meadow , Ready for the new gaffer to take us back up to stabilise us in Div 1 then after a few years in the top six and then on onwards and upwards. Shrewsbury is a great town, and if you can save us I will make a trip to meet you and say thanks, Maybe bring you some great news for the future, of the club All The best

I'm a Swansea city supporter but a soft spot always for Shrewsbury for 40 years unfortunately the owner or club hasn't invested in a academy which is paramount for young players coming in and financially going out . Stand still in modern football and the trap door is very near. And difficult. Many conference teams are better run than Shrewsbury,,,,,,,

Dark arts come to Shrewsbury. Desperate times will make desperate time wasting from 15th minute if ever in front. Tying shoe laces, turning round as ball is handed to players. Change of player at throw ins. Goal keeper and everyone else goes down. Needs must but pushing the rules big time. Seen it when we played Wycombe as a Gas Head. Success by any means ? No thanks

He wrecked QPR to the core I can assure you he will not be moving from his Berkshire home He needs the money,complete and utter joke at QPR. @ That’s correct we gave him eight months,eight months too long 25 games and five wins the most dreadful football I’ve seen down at Loftus Road for years long ball kick and run. Total patronising players, calling players boys with his greasy long hair and his cowboy boots he looks a clown and he is a clown. He should do well with a small provincial club like yours As for our current position, I’d rather be in the position with this manager than playing hoof football under Ainsworth
