Shreya ghoshal isn't the only one. There are tons and tons of overwhelming singers in india. The thing why they got perfection is that they start singing from there early age( for example shreya). The learning and practice of singing in this region (say the whole india, pakistan, bangladesh) have uniqe technics. Almost all Singers specially classic singers take singing like a devine thing. If anyone wants to sing like indian types of music - the first thing you have to learn the accent of indian language.(its smooth). No matter you understand the language or not but you have to have a great catch on accent - the second thing, you have to follow some specific steps and practice them over and over again. If a normal person (not god gifted) starts practicing classical music, it takes 6-7 years to get well controll over his voice (shreya ghoshal is a classical style singer, she started practicing in her childhood)

A few directions for further exploration: 1. For Indian songs not only are the vocals and music important, the lyrics are important as well. Most of the classics have beautiful meaning along with the fantastic vocals and music. Beautiful enough to bring one to tears without the vocals :) do check them out if you can. 2. Do checkout - Lata Mangeshkar - (she is Sherya Ghoshal's idol; so you can imagine what her discography must be like :) 3. The common factor that you are looking for at 10:13 - is training in Hindustani Classical, Karnatic Classical that gives Indian singers the range; pitch and breath control. Pakistan also has rich tradition in Hindustani Classical music.
