Those look good, to bad we cant get them that fresh here in the states. Usually the ones you buy in the store are about 3 days and longer if they are frozen. Dont eat frozen foods or anything out of a can, and stay healthy.

Prawn cocktail: The chemicals used in one Vietnamese prawn pond. Butaphosphan. Chloramphenicol. Nitrofurans. Methylhydroxybenzoate. Norfloxcin. If you just take Norfloxacin: An antibiotic used to treat certain bacterial infections like gonorrhea, postrate, and urinary tract infection. Land used is temporary land , on loan from the ocean.

"Not sure how I got here..." I was reading an article that 90% of the shrimp we consume in the USA is imported, mostly Thailand and the Philippines. looked up videos on shrimp farming so that's how I got here. One thing though, these look like prawns, not shrimp, farmed from a fresh water pond.

+Armand Orsolino the electricity from the battery temporarily stuns the shrimp, meaning that they can't just swim away from the net. There are many ways of doing this, including electrical, chemical, and biological methods. This same thing is done using the crushed seeds of the Jicama plant by the aborigine peoples of Mexico.

@h23sirlude They have been doing the same in Western countries, including chickens and pigs with antibiotics. So when you get caught with a superbug, you have a higher chance of dying since most antibiotics wouldn't work on you to get rid of your virus from eating those meat. Chemical food is also fed to salmons in Western countries to make them grow faster and bigger, and will probably caught diseases. GMO crop is also known to cause illness from Monsanto which is in Western countries.

I wouldn't touch that seafood with rubber gloves on. Vietnam has the worst track record of food rejected at inspection; fish farmed in sewage, literally fed sewage from farm animals and people, pumped full of antibiotics, and live in/near the Mekong delta, one of the most polluted waterways on earth.
