Use the shells from the shrimp to make a fish stock. I save all of my shrimp shells for seafood chowder or clam chowder. Freeze the shells until ready to make stock.

I've made Marry Me chicken quite a few times but I've never thought about using other proteins, I'm def gonna substitute now. I bet a seafood mix would be fire, with shrimp, mussels, scallops and even some octopus. One thing I would add to this, that my friend turned me onto, was add a little spinach when you put the cream in. It adds a whole new level.
