I'm so jealous, great video, golden galaxy fishbone shrimp is on my list of shrimp to get next. Trying to find a good source, most breeders mention they don't breed true and lots of culls but also met a few that say they breed true

Hey RW, I hope you find good ones mate. I'm not sure if they breed true we will see I guess. I don't think I have many females in that group only can see one now some of them are still little though

@@ShrimpMania I've chatt3d with a bunch of people in sg and tw and they say they don't breed true. I've chatted with a semi local guy abd German guys and they mentioned they breed true. I've noticed this about imports, high male to female ratio or no females. My guess also is for some species when there's many shrimp, the males attack the females for breeding and killing them as a result the higher male to female ratio

I don't really know much about crossbreeding shrimp, you probably know more than me, I don't see the point of crossing them and spending years if you can simply buy them😊

I found them on Ebay here in the UK only one seller has them for sell they quite rare shrimp

Do you add some kind of chemical to neutralize the ammonia in ship bag, before drip acclimating? I only temp acclimate before releasing them into aquarium. I had bad experience with drip acclimating ship shrimp but yours look great after dripping.

No I don't add any chemicals, chemicals are bad for shrimp and there shouldn't be any ammonia unless you have a dead shrimp. You have to drip acclimate them because they are very sensitive in sudden water parameters changing like tds and ph. They can die from stress if your water parameters very different to the water parameters in the bag.

Yes you can fit the pump on that box instead of airstone

@@lampistsiaparas184 this filter is good for shrimp and if you have a fish in 200l tank then better to use canister filter. I normally use 1 filter box in 50l tank

Hello sir, I want to ask if the tank should be closed if keep shrimp? (I was told by my friend that shrimp like this can jump out of the tank). If it is closed, what do you use to cover the tank?

I noticed it in the past long time ago once I started but it never happened again. I assume maybe that time my water was very bad for them and they were trying to escape😄 You can use a piece of glass i guess

What a great looking shirmp. I love the colors. Galaxy fishbones are some of my favorites. I have some really nice red and black fishbones. You know you will have to ship me some of the offspring. 😂🤣😭🎉

they are pets same as a fish in aquarium. They also quite expensive and if you eat them it would cost you a lot 😂

They are definitely very pretty shrimp but the yellow one yellow bands doesn't stand out

I agree yellow and write is not as good as white/red or black/white galaxy but they quite rare and new so it's good to have them in my collection.

Hey Baron, I quite like the look of moss on coconut shell it looks like overgrown arch. I do also have cholla wood in my tanks. In fact I do have it in that tank as well with some anubis plants on it. Thank you for your support btw

I can never get moss to grow on anything But moss it self My thumb not green enuff And Them are very nice shrimp I am all most wanting to try Caridinas But I am On Neocaridina And I having trouble with Ghost shrimp But My Neocaridinas are doing Well Plus i dont like co2 , chemicals, or Fertilzers only fish or snail poo Pending What tank it is
