SHRIMPS IN BUTTER-GARLIC-PINEAPPLE SAUCE is an exciting and easy way to prepare shrimps.
Oftentimes we cook the shrimps in small amount of water and then we add salt towards the end to keep the shrimps moist and tender.
Also, the preparation of the shrimps before we cook is not a hassle at all. We just wash and proceed to cook.
Shrimps are the foodies’ favourite. We steam and serve. We cook shrimp and vegetable tempura. Or cook as Shrimp Sinigang.
My exposure to these cited dishes made me see that I have to clean the shrimps more. This is by deveining. The video will show you how this is done. In addition, to have a more aesthetic effect, the antenna has to be cut. Other than these two steps, the shrimps are ready to be cooked.
Cooking the shrimps in butter, garlic and pineapple juice has leveled up the steaming of shrimps. The taste has improved as well. No sugar was added so the sweetness of the shrimps and the unsweetened pineapple juice are the factors that made this very tasty!
BTW, the seasoned soy sauce used has a taste of soy sauce and fish sauce combined. I used it with caution so the dish will not turn salty.
This dish is likewise a crowd pleaser!

SHRIMPS IN BUTTER-GARLIC-PINEAPPLE SAUCE
Ingredients
4 lbs. fresh shrimps (large size)
1/3 C butter or margarine
1 head garlic, minced
2 T oyster sauce
1 ½ T Seasoned Soy Sauce for Seafood
1 ½ C unsweetened pineapple juice
½ t Wow Sarap or Magic Sarap (seasoning)
Salt and pepper to taste
For garnishing:
• finely chopped spring onions and cilantro
• fried garlic
