There's something satisfying about light gear fishing.. It's probably because i can never catch anything big myself, so it's relatable 😂 Cool idea for future videos, you should do a extra little write up on scren of the rod and reel, line weight, hook size the rigs etc, when you mention what you're using to help beginners learn while watching, makes it easier to replicate something similar if people would like.

Thoughts about throwing a cranka-crab ? Soldier crabs coming up in the pump. Crabs might be the go .. And not to make you nervous, but I have caught bull sharks in that system.

Put 3 - 4 on a long shank whiting hook and expect large whiting. The really big whiting love them -- the smaller pea sized soldier crabs are the best size to use as you can use 5 or so on your hook.

Light gear or not set the hook in stead of waiting for them to hook themselves , circle hooks might be better for you , I also use a red bead and when the bait moves they don’t miss it. Try it with a red bead sitting above the hook eye ,attracts fish very fast.

You would catch more fish if you set the hook never seen. A fisherman not set the hook. A circle hook yes just reel but any Other hook set it. had to stop watching because not setting the hook
