Audio from a Scott High bon-fire, autumn 1976. It’s a lengthy recording on a small battery-powered cassette recorder (justifying the poor sound quality), exact date unknown.
Sound picks up with a few band members seated on the bleachers at the Scott football field, Lick Creek. While waiting everyone to arrive, friends are heard talking (yelling) and playing excerpts from marching band tunes. As time goes by, more people join-in and participate (‘Rock Around The Clock’ is a popular tune, though it’s 20 years old by now.)
Later, the actual pep-rally begins and, between songs, various voices are heard. Big memories of high-school, circa 1976.
