As a combat vet like yourself, I used to avoid the topic of preparedness. I didn't want to be considered a "crazy". Combat changes your views and although I'm not a "prepper", I do keep myself in a ready awareness state of mind. As a past operator, I've seen up close what lies behind closed doors and the realization today is America is infiltrated by the same organizations that we worked hard to police overseas. For the naysayers, you need to take a ride to some of the reported spots where Palestinians are grouping for protests. Listen first hand to their rhetoric. What's reported as college kids protesting is actually Palestinians. Don't have to freak out about the situation but be aware and prepared to respond. Keep your head on a swivel for the next year.

All these things are naturally understood by those who would do something about it. It's the weak, timid and easily influenced that are being targeted by these media whores trying to MAKE MONEY off of the vulnerability of FEAR! Fearmongering is addressed in the Bible's 10 Commandments. Bearing false witness. And to a degree, don't steel. Receiving money for distributing information that is sensationalism based, in my opinion, is steeling. Simply spreading gossip! For profit! THAT is what my beef is about.

I lost it there. ...society degrading year after year. I moved from Johanneburg to an isolated farm out in the Freestate 4 years ago and I picked up so many skills. We as a group keep prepping, it has even worldwide never been so bad as now. Something big is coming for sure, just give it time. Regards all.

Midwest is the same. News says there is 5" of snow coming, people rush out and buy a ton of food and supplies. It's unreal how people react to something that will actually only affect maybe 12 hours before the roads are just fine and stores are still open. Reality is that people are unprepared and selfish and will buy a lot of things that will eventually go to waste and they continue to repeat this cycle every time a slight snowstorm is possibly coming.

As far as what I think is coming? I tend to have dreams and visions about people and places a lot. Most of these visions, only concern the immediate area I am in at the time, or people close to me. There are a lot of places I avoid because of these visions, like most cities. I get terrified every time I cross the Mississippi River heading east for some reason. Lots of dreams of climbing over and through ruble and fighting my way out of a city, while trying to lead other people to safety. Saying all of this, and I have to go work in the city tomorrow 😮

As someone who lives on a less populated island in the middle of the pacific, I prioritize things on what’s most likely to happen. For example, natural disasters like hurricanes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, as well as man made disasters like shipping coming to a halt, protests and civil unrest…. things like that, not necessarily in that order. Realizing I just typed one long ass run on sentence, I will tactically step away from my keyboard. Aloha to you and your Ohana Top. 🤙🏽 Ez3 on the Big Island. Good topic. No idea what the most likely threat is. However as you said its a matter of when, not if. Basic preparedness will cover a range of possible scenarios. Mindset ,skillsets, toolset, in that order. No amount of stuff that one doesn't know how to use is going to save them.

Yup, the writing is on the wall. Anyone that can't see things are not right have their head in the sand. I watch multiple things going on around the world and can see and feel it. Been deployed to a lot of bad places, always knew when things were not right, they usually were not. Thanks for the words, you speak the truth. People better get ready. Well, I live in London, UK, so generally I see two possible things coming - terrorist attacks (and I use underground every day), or some freak of the weather - like gigantic downpours or some type of polar vortex keeping the temperature really low for a long time. My countermeasures - 1st scenario - I'm a trained first aider with a lot of medical goodies in my everyday pack (no weapons as I obviously live behind the enemy lines), 2nd scenario - go home survival kit in my bag, and plenty of camping fuel of many sorts in my home, water containers, hygiene kits, camping food, camping equipment (sleeping bags, mats, heaters, you name it), ham radios etc plus knowledge how to use it all. I also slowly pour the knowledge about premade survival kits and other stuff amongst my family and work colleagues, but this is a slow process - I cannot go full prepper with them, although one day I may regret it.

I was on a tower block roof in Dalston when the second IRA bomb went off in the City. It was a terrifying thing to see, a big mushroom cloud and the place looked like during the Blitz after. Those blokes gave warnings, this current lot don't. I'd give remaining in London a good think if I were you, not that many places in England will be particularly safe if many SHTF scenarios happened but London is a particularly vulnerable spot. Regardless, I hope you and yours remain fine and things calm down.

I don't know how long and how often I have told people to be ready be prepared. Oh you're one of those, crazy maybe, I would reply yes because they are ignorant. However nowadays it's not that way anymore and therefore a $2.00 box of waterproof matches is now $10.00 15:46 A $20.00 knife is now $50.00 Not discussing the lack of availability is a issue that I have with several of the presenters or the purchase the item from their website. I do not know if you speak any street slang , but I have observed Hogdoggers and that's an individual that watches observed product purchases then purchased everything for resale value. Example Walmart Camillus Knife that was on sale for $16.00 regularly $39.99 not two seconds after I took one off the shelf that dude, who never been camping or anything bought all remaining 20 knives on the shelf, blatantly got indignant, a 17 year old kid who knew nothing standing there look daft. Then I find out the dude the Hogdogger has a resale channel. How much of s Survival Expert do you think a 17 year old kid really is? Surplus stores nowadays are way overpriced. It is obvious to me that our illustrious government does not want people, it's citizens to be prepared, remember this, those people fear us the most! So nowadays I'm not thought of as crazy. I get asked pertinent questions, like how to purify water, types of clothing etc. I always tell them to watch, learn, and most importantly go out into the field and practice and keep doing so until you get it right and don't have to think about it. Again I cannot say it enough, watch Sarge here and learn a high standard of land navigation. Sarge is nice about it as you are not crawling through mud and debris while using your compass to find your way out. I was once asked what is important to learn? Navigation! Especially to find Water!

Ok, I have a real question I need answered. Seems no one replies on others videos. Where am I supposed to go train? State parks? I cannot carry in state parks. I live in a small city in NE Oklahoma. Where and how do I go train without freaking out my neighbors? Honest answer please and thank you.

You may find some folks with some private property that have like minded interests. National Forests are good to train in but based on your location, you may have to travel across to Arkansas. Hope you able to find something! You can use parks (state and federal) but may have issue if your packing.

Honestly - any focus on one tree takes away the scope of the entire forest. It's an old anecdote but always true. At this point we must stay informed and maintain a preparedness level the best we can. It's never too late to take some form of action towards readiness - simply being prepared for a disruption in our ordinary lives. We've suffered through 9/11, 20+ years at war, the Great Recession, COVID-19 and 3 years of Biden's failed domestic and foreign policies. Whatever's coming, at the end of it, we'll still be here. The 'in-between' times might be hard - that's what we should prepare for.

I’d like a book to add to my toolkit…doesn’t need to be signed…I know who wrote it and that works for me. Here’s my position…it’s biblical. I believe Jesus is going to return very soon. I believe in a pre-trib rapture. What know to 100% certainty is WHEN. So I prepare to survive until God decides it’s time. I expect a collapse from within. There’s a slew of likely scenarios… just know what it looks like when it comes.

Couple things to consider. These warning could be a way to spin up opposition and cause chatter and activity they want to monitor. The other is to cause fear and panic with the weak masses. They could be looking for a way out and trying to not be held responsible, because the threat is here and the attacks are imminent. That’s highly unlikely, it’s clearly their failure. At some point the people have to assume they are working with and or for the opposing force. The enemy to both foreign actors and the gov seems to be the US people. If it WAS a threat to them, they’d be arming up and fortifying like no tomorrow. 🤙🏻

Transplant Yankees wait... Multi-generational Floridians like myself are ready 24/7/365. I keep minimum 50-60gals of fuel that I cycle thru and refill. I keep 200#'s of propane on hand and probably 750gal of fresh drinking water. Then again ive been hit directly twice in the past 20yrs. Ian in 2022 we spent 9hrs in 160mph sustained winds and Charlie in 2004.
