I've always changed my own tyres because I'm too impatient to wait on assistance. One time I was with my auntie and she was astounded that I knew how to do it and how quickly I had it done. My best time for changing a tyre was 12 minutes from pullover to back on the road. I was driving taxis at the time and had a £60 fare that I refused to let someone else get. The four guys bet me the cost of the fare if I could do it in under 15 minutes. Gave me £20 tip on top of the £60. Never had a round of applause for changing a tyre before or since 😅😅😅
