Giving stretch mark cream to a woman who gave birth to their oldest child is insane. A lot of women do through not liking their bodies for months after delivering a baby and gifting them stretch mark cream just reinforces the idea of them not being pretty enough

This is a message directly to James. If your woman spends 9 almost 10 months creating a baby in her body goes through bloating morning sickness possibly losing her hair possibly losing her teeth gaining skin tags all of the things that come with pregnancy and then she pushes that baby out of her lady parts. All while you have done absolutely nothing but get your rocks off, which is effectively what caused the woman to go through all of that anyway...... You better get her a gift for pushing your baby out of her who-ha. . . A birthing gift is so the man let the woman know that he appreciates everything she just went through over the past year and during delivery. Stretch mark cream is the absolute worst gift. He literally could have gotten her a watermelon and it would have been a better gift than stretch mark cream

Not gonna lie, this episode had me really frustrated. (This is coming from a Christian, raised in a Christian household in The South here in America) The guys obviously don’t actually know what Satanism is, just what it has been portrayed as in popularized media. In my belief, if your trust in God is true then you shouldn’t worry about kids getting told about other religions because they should have CHOICE. Taking away choice is the way that will drive children from paths. Like I truly want to write a whole essay here because I’m truly frustrated on how this really just evolved into a serious conversation without previous facts + research included. I’m gonna end it here bc i’m not trying to do a whole bunch more in yt comments like that 💀

They have bible clubs in most schools i dont see this as any different

This!!! Too many people fail to realize that any idea worth its salt will not crumble when questioned or when an alternative is presented. It's the practice of placing certain ideas above questioning and shutting down alternative options that is dangerous because _that's_ how you get cults. This is a problem with all extremist ideology. I do get why people are extra sensitive about children since they are very easily convinced of ideas (especially when said ideas are presented by a trusted authority figure) but that's all the more reason to not funnel them in any one direction. Parents are some of the worst offenders when it comes to this since many view their children as an extension of themselves instead of the soon to be autonomous people they actually are.

Sorry for my long comment folks, I had bits to say lol. 1. The stretch mark cream birth gift is crazy in my opinion! For context, the birth gift was a trend that appeared after the discussion of mother morality and self care for parents came into question; so I think a lot of people do “push gifts” or “birth gifts” to celebrate the mother for surviving and kinda as a congratulations type thing. The reason I think the stretch mark cream was a crazy gift because in that situation, it wouldn’t feel like something to help maintain her health but rather a unsaid statement that the mother’s body must bounce back or she’ll be undesirable or “wrong.” Now, I know that’s not what he meant (or I hope so) but in a moment where her physical and psychological state is so shaky, that is not a good gift-no less 2 DAYS after. 2. As for the trash news, I loved the conversation! As someone in the US, religion has been a hot topic for centuries. Although we have things in law like separation of church and state, some instances people who seek to manipulate people with religion slip around the system. I honestly think the whole Satan club truly was just a sock-it-to-me moment to the organizations trying to institute things like Christian prayer and bible stories into the school system but it could be folks trying to gain representation of their beliefs; but in all honesty, I don’t think religion of any kind should be instituted in schools for the very reason people can be manipulated or abused by people in positions of power. For example, the documentary on Netflix called Keep Sweet, Pray, and Obey. That whole situation was not a representation of the whole of Christianity, but sadly many of the children (now adults-research the Lost Boys and the testimonies of the survivors) involved in that instance only learned of Christianity from a perverted version of the religion and connect it to the abuse. If they make clubs, it should probably only around high school and up; the only time I can see making concessions of students is like prayer rooms but only with the rules (because I know with beliefs like Islam calls for prayer sessions at specific times of the day).

For the most part they are in modern hospitals with sterile equipment and an excellent medical staff. As a non-religious US kid who was peer pressured into praying in class, I can absolutely see a bunch of kids getting together to form a Satan club as an F you to school administrators. Religion isn't supposed to be forced on anyone in school but depending on where you're located in the states, it is 100% assumed that everyone is Christian and the school operates according to this assumption.
@феофилакт-п4ш Жыл бұрын
They mentioned in the article that the challenge to the supposed violation of America's secularism laws came from the Satanic Temple, who are responsible for the After-School Satan clubs nationwide. Whether or not kids are running it is irrelevant, the content is coming from adults who worship the devil.

I would love for one or both of them to look up the actual tenents of Satanism.
