Super rec, thanks! Just went down a "new" stretch of a lovely little river (everyone warned me not to go... so I went). The ancient cedars towering above and sunken below made stretches a cathedral that man could never replicate. The few liftovers were a small price to pay for the experience. I meant to stay and spend the night midway but couldn't stop: had to see around every turn. If not a religious experience, it was a lesson in appreciation for what God has wrought.

It can cause us to be a little unhappy with ourselves at times. @shugemery I'm not going to watch that link yet and just take a guess. Was it the time you heard whispering at 3 am?? I remember that video and you were in the middle of nowhere, lake superior??. I already made my mind up back then that they came into your camp. They have language, it's been studied by Scott Nelson a cryptolinguist for the military, now retired. Just how you described what you heard made my ears go up. Now I have another reason, of many, to love your channel. I have spoken to people I trust with my life who have seen them. A friend who has now passed had a brother in Gilmer, Texas. He took me to his brother's house one day because he knew I had a genuine interest in the subject. His brother was on oxygen and one foot in the grave. He said in the late 90s early 2000s he had signed up for an apartment at a newly built apartment section on Lake Fork in Texas. There were no developments around the apartment complex and he said at night he noticed that there was a loud thudding noise around his apartment and he thought it was coming from above but realized it was in the ground. One night he said he heard that and decided to look out the blinds on his back patio where he had solar lights. When he eased the blinds open very quietly and looked out he said there was a small hair covered creature about 3 ft tall squatted down and it was reaching out with its index finger touching the solar light. He said it kept doing it over and over like it was curious. Then he said after a few minutes it stood up and walked off into the 3-foot brush behind the apartments. He was completely floored at what he had observed. On two other occasions him and another gentleman that was there the day that I spoke to him both confirmed that they seen the entire family standing at the wood line about 100ft behind the apartments in the late evening. Would shine a light and get eye shine from all of the family standing there. Creeped them out and they would double time it to their car. Two-time world champion knife thrower also talked to me because we lived in the same area on the lake and he told me that he took his niece and nephew to Jonestown near Lindale Texas in late seventies and they had a run-in with one there. Both niece and nephew shot at it with shotguns and it made him drop to his knees because it was right near his ears LOL and the thing ran. Got many more first hand accounts. Would like to know your thoughts.
@dontfearthereaper95289 ай бұрын
Okay I watched the link but I still think you heard communication between some Sasquatch when you talked about whispering. Never have seen that link but yeah that's another way they communicate. A friend of mine who was on the Trinity River who I talk to about Sasquatch and what to look for was out fishing on the river at night with his family and had a rock thrown at the boat and everybody was wondering WTF and he said yeah they do stuff like that and the family said who does stuff like that and he says Bigfoot and everybody started snickering then they heard two wood knocks and they all started looking at each other and he said that's how they communicate and everybody shut up the rest of the night😂😂

Thanks. Not to frighten or insult you but I wish we had met 60 years ago. I grew up in a Southern Baptist church in the segregated South of the MS Delta. I cannot in good faith recommend that to anyone. Even as a child I was amazed at how magic could start and stop at the threshold of a brick building but evidently it did. The idea of there being nothing better than man is a frightening and depressing thought to me. Perhaps it is only because I know me. I just don't know. Still there has never been a time when the idea of G-d, for lack of a better word, has left me. What a long strange trip its been.
@shugemery9 ай бұрын
I mull the big questions more at my current age. Was one of two Catholics in my high school down South. We were misunderstood.
@ergot579 ай бұрын
@@shugemery LOL with you of course as it is safe to say I was a tad misunderstood myself. I have always been considered insane by my peers because I had no desire to spend 40 years in the same building doing the same thing. Given the measuring stick that they were indoctrinated to use my outlook would indeed be insane to them. Our parents being raised during the Depression taught them that if one is lucky enough to get a job down to the sawmill, they stay there for life and use the company store and such. I have spent a lifetime in awe of these men and always wondered what was wrong with me. I suppose I could fill a book with things not to do. I can't help but feel that most of what is valued by man flies fully in the face of how Christ suggested one live. If being Christ like is the goal of Christianity, then I certainly miss the mark. I think our culture does as well as enough is never actually enough. That is not unique to the USA either I feel. I think the idea of having to answer for all of the things I've done is as fair as it gets. That way I do not have to concern myself with how others choose to live and can just enjoy them for who they are. I don't mean to fill your page with my nonsense. As I said, I got no idea really.
@ergot579 ай бұрын
I bet pagan man was a happier person in general than the man of today. He understood better than we his place in all of what was around him in my opinion. Certainly, he was not filled with rage and fear over what was being pumped into his household all day every day. I've been a hunter gatherer all of my life and do recommend it as a way of teaching any number of healthy things to younger folks. Granted it is not for everyone. Still, just going into the deep woods is rewarding and even healing, again, just an opinion. Also, back to the previous comment, I feel a bit sorry for the Jesus cat. I think most of his thoughts have been moved away from like a snowball rolling downhill through the last couple of thousand years. I mean according to He, if a fellow actually picked up his cross and followed him in true form, amassing great wealth and property and all that goes with it isn't part of the deal. Also, I struggle with this great concern for borders, magic songs, pieces of cloth that are somehow of more importance than other people's wellbeing, and things along that line. As Village Idiot I feel it is my duty to ponder these things. Being a bit neurotic and having a touch of OCD does help. I love my country but being an idealist in any world is an effort in futility. Easter though will always make me cry. The idea that anyone would suffer such things for my crazy ass is just more guilt than I can handle. Not that I don't appreciate it. I do. It just seems a waste compared to what could have been done if the story line is true. I do hope there is something better out there. I would settle for just a chance to see it as I walk by as they shuffle me off to my cell. Don't really need or deserve a front row seat you know.

We feel God in nature because he reveals himself through nature. He created us and He created everything. We’ve mess a lot of things up with our denominations and many people view that as the church, not the true church that is under Christ as His bride. Please don’t miss a relationship with God and Christ by only getting half of it, what we enjoy nature. There’s so much more. If this earthly nature is so awesome imagine how the environment will be in heaven! Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made.
