Recently we learned about this talented and gorgeous little girl by seeing some videos online. First of all we would like to say that we really appreciate that the memory of Jemini Kantha also know as Josi Baba, still lives in the Sri-lankan culture. We are writing this comment to make some facts CLEAR. We as the grandchildren of Jemini Kantha were upset when we watched this interview. Jemini Kantha was her artist name but her real name was Nona Yuhan Sheriffdeen and after marriage she took the surname Buksh. She had 3 children which are Sheik Mohamed Nazir Buksh, Sheik Mohamed Rafeek Buksh and Gnei Zareena Buksh ( Samath after marriage). From her children she has 6 grandchildren which are (in order of birth) Gnei Saeeda Samath, Uhan Buksh, Gnei Shamila Samath, Tuan Shehan Samath and Tuan Shamil Samath. Her children moved away from Sri-Lanka and settled down in Italy 40 years ago. This is where her grandchildren were born and brought up. Our grandmother and grandfather were brought to Italy to stay with their family. They both passed away in 1992 and are buried in Rome, Italy. We are a little upset for the fact that this little girl mentioned our grandmother as her “Achi Amma”. We do not have any issue if the parents of this little girl want to mention that they are related to Jemini Kantha. We just want to make CLEAR that ONLY the people mentioned above are the 1st degree family of Jemini Kantha. We would really appreciate if any relatives do not spread fake information about our beloved grandmother. If they continue so we will be forced to take legal action. I went through all the comments Firstly I thank you very sincerely for the complement given to my daughter as talented and gorgeous little girl. I am Shiraz Dain. And I am so glad and honoured to be the father of Shuhaizee . The comment made on the youtube channel has complicated and made us really uncomfortable. Jemini Kantha AKA (Josi Baba) Nona Yuhan Sheriffdeen is one of my grand mother and I called her as Jemsi Nene from my childhood. My children have never seen but we as parents have nurtured them with the relationship as they're growing the most beautiful sacred flowers.We Keep watering them,tend to the roots, and always making sure the petals are full of colour and are never curling.Once you neglect your plant,It will die, as will the relationship. As everyone may know Shuhaizee Dain is the Derana little star and the prominent and adequate publicity was given entirely from her talents. I sincerely apologize onbehalf of my daughter for mentioning our grandma as her "Achchi Amma". At this note we meant that this was her 3rd great grand mother Hope that's what you mean. And all these were done and still doing with pure intention. We have brought the memories back. That's the bitter truth. As said in above comment We do not want to mislead the media for any popularity by spreading fake information,Please do some research with your relatives who are living in Sri Lanka for further clarifications.

@@muhameddayandain8952 First of all I would like to thank you for replying to my comment. As I mentioned before there is no doubt that your daughter has really a great talent and we all are happy for her and we wish her all the best for future projects! You might have taken my comment as upsetting and uncomfortable and I can say speaking on behalf of my family and especially my dad that we are upset and uncomfortable about it too. I can understand that it could have been a misunderstanding but as you have explained in your comment my grandmother is the 3rd great grandmother to you daughter. In the interview it specifically been asked who is your “Achi Amma”. From what I know in Sinhala Achi Amma is the 1st degree grandmother which in this case she clearly is not. This is what I meant from my comment. I just wanted to clarify it. Second of all I do not need a metaphoric story about nurturing plants and relationship as I know everything regarding my family and for sure I do not need to do any research! Third of all and lastly you do not need to apologize on behalf of your daughter for what she said as this answer was for sure instructed by you. I am not a person that likes to argue on social media or anything but when it comes to discuss about my family I have my right to defend it and clarify.
