You can actually very very quickly solve for tick throws using frame data. Tick throws work because the opponent is out of blockstun by the time the throw connects, so all you have to do is look at the cancel advantage of any move and if its at least one frame lower than your command grab startup you have a tick throw. Shujinkos reiko-grab is 20 frames, so every button with a cancel advantage of 19 frames or fewer on block will tick throw. This also by nature means tick throws *must* have an armor gap.

Shujinko just feels complete, I love the recovery adjustment for Kitana, Rain, and Ashrah!! Thanks for making this, I don't own the kombat pack as I don't like guest characters so I can't really see what they steal from them so thanks again Dink! Also Shujinko deserves Reiko's command grab I hope they don't nerf it , that punk deserves to destroyed by his own moves.

Did you know that you can cancel Ermac's Down Forward steal move (using the block button)? it costs a bar but I just found this out, awesome.

Correction Reiko’s grab is a high not mid if they neutral duck it’s a full combo punish but you can still tick throw as you said

When i press down back + r1 with shujinku he transformes into the opponent’s kameo

Time to finally return to mk1, ermac looks sick, a lot of personal grievances were nerfed, and my main man shujinko got some hot new buffs. Its time to get 2-0'd some more

I genuinely believe they can make Shujinko as broken as possible, but as long as he keeps his gimmick, he'll still be the least played kameo
