How is it you have a house/apartment (of which YOU should be capable of maintaining) and expect someone else to pay bills that YOU made? Sleeping w/someone does not make them liable to pay YOUR bills - it's more impressive when he sees that you can maintain your bills w/o his assistance. Now that doesn't open the door for him to assume you can support him too, but at least it shows him that you are self-sufficient. If I never remember anything that my mother taught all of her daughters, I remember this one thing: ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS be self-sufficient. I have lived my adult life on that mantra alone.
