Tip: you can use stone walls with a trapdoor and a scaffolding on a trapdoor instead of a noteblock/observer chain, much cheaper and a little faster

@@DomyTheMad420 If you place 3 stone wall pillars in a line and put a trapdoor at the top facing into the middle pillar, once you close the trapdoor it should make the whole middle pillar look like the ones next to it instantly, and by hooking up an observer looking into the bottom of the middle pillar you can detect that change, sending the elevator upwards. And with scaffolding: Place a solid block, a trapdoor on one side (top type trapdoor, placed on the block). Then place one scaffolding on the solid block and a collumn starting on the trapdoor, and lastly an observer looking at the highest scaffolding. Once you open the trapdoor the observer will detect that change because the connection of the scaffolding changes from the trapdoor to the solid block. This isn't an instant detection but is still fast

If you put a obsidian above and underneath a regular piston facing out (back of the pistol towards the slime blocks) u can by having the piston stop the elevator and then extract/power the piston to make the machine able to move again, then just have an option of choosing to go up or down which might be a little difficult with this specific version of machine, I built an own design myself. Tho the down side of all of this is that there is going to be a ton more redstone needed (compared to how much there is currently in this build) which I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s worth it. But if you really want a multiple floor elevator there is videos on that, let me know if you want a link to it

Note: This “NOTE” block doesn’t activate in Bedrock or Pocket Edition. So rather you have to make a different type of elevator door instead.
